Sponsor A Project
Just as in any charitable organization the needs are always great and are always there. With the statement released by TIME magazine in January 2000, that there are 10 million orphans in Africa, it is going to take us along time before we can say we have reached our goals.

The sponsorship funds go completely to the care of the children. It does provide money to expand and cope with the demands placed on us to care for more children. Kind donations to the Projects allow the orphanage to provide better facilities for the children, such as a new nursery and dining room. It also means that we can take in more children and there are just so many that we feel we could help.

New Kitchen / Dining Room

The most recently completed project is the Borehole. This was funded by the Australian High Commission, ADRA and EAM Orphanage. Prior to the borehole, the orphanage had to buy water from the neighbour. When this broke down, the orphanage had no water. The orphanage now has running clean water and is also able to provide a drip system for the vegetable garden.

Extension to Dormitories

Thanks to a kind donation from a family in the US the orphanage is currently building an extension to both the boy and girls dorms. This will provide an area to sleep another 16 boys and a bathroom for both the girls and boys dorms.

Kitchen/Dining Room

Collicut Energy Services, ADRA Canada and ABW (A Better World) have donated the funding to build a new Kitchen and Dining Room. This is scheduled to be completed in March 2007.

Farming Project

ADRA and several families have donated funding to allow the Farming Project to go ahead. EAMO has leased 500 Acres of land to farm wheat. The goal is to develop an income generating farm to support the Orphanage.

Future Projects

Due to the large numbers of young mothers, EAMO has been requested to open a ‘Girls Rescue Centre’ to provide a safe home for young girls that have been raped. It is still in the planning stage. If anyone is interested in making a donation for this project, please contact us.
